OUR
PURPOSE
The
Wayne Metropolitan Housing Authority
was founded in 1969 as a political
subdivision of the State of Ohio.
This public agency, funded in part
through the United States Department
of Housing and Urban Development,
provides subsidized housing for eligible
citizens of Wayne County.
MISSION
STATEMENT
The
mission of the Wayne Metropolitan
Housing Authority is to assist low-income
families and individuals with safe,
decent and affordable housing opportunities
as they strive to improve the quality
of their lives. The Housing Authority
is committed to operating in an efficient,
ethical and professional manner by
adhering to its own Core Values and
fostering partnerships with its clients
and appropriate community agencies.
